Frakk that Gas, Man!

Marvellous program on Quest last night about Centrica frakking gas off Norway. A fact of life is that gas not won from the North Sea is in fact inported from Norway from the British Company Centrica. Have a look at their web site. What I was not aware of was that it is frakked gas. This would suggest that the likes of FoE, WWF and the DECC are talking through their wooly hats when they object to gas exploration onshore in the UK. Our geologists have a great deal of experience. One very noticeable feature of the program was the high level of UK employment in that sphere, unlike the UK wind industry. All very highly paid and highly competent Scots engineers.
