The views in New Zealand over climate change are wide and varied. Many groups, including the NZ Green Party, push for urgent direct action, while others, including a number of prominent scientists, maintain the view that human actions do not largely impact on our climate, so it is foolish to make decisions that would jeopardise economic growth and security.
