Interested in things of all the times. But, nothing is sustainable. “Global warming” could be the most costly scare story in the history of man.

I would like to ask if you want to be a part of “The Science Bulletin”. I need authors. If you do, please register at my blog. Thanks

    1. It would be my pleasure.

  2. Tom Harris is an engineer not climate scientist. He has spent much of his career denying climate change is a problem. He runs an organization funded in part by the Heartland Institute, now well-known for comparing people worried about climate change to mass murderers. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/blog/2012/may/04/heartland-institute-global-warming-murder

Patterson, a geologist, is no expert on climate and shares the same ideology: climate change denial http://www.desmogblog.com/directory/vocabulary/788

see here for full discussion of Harris’ climate misinformation: http://www.skepticalscience.com/tom-harris-carleton-university-climate-misinformation-class.html

    1. Who can deny climate change. We always make mistakes. Just a gentle reminder, Lovelock.

Here is my letter to the editor that was published yesterday concerning David Suzuki’s attack on Carleton and me for the Earth Sciences climate course:

Suzuki, like the primary author of the highly unethical attack on my course by a fellow Carleton lecturer (course videos obtained through misleading statements to CU admin and then going to the media without communicating with me), is an insect biologist.

Listen here to the course originator, Earth Sciences Professor Tim Patterson dismiss the findings and the ridiculous approach of the CASS report:

BTW, several of the issues raised by Hassell et al were completely false factually, which is not surprising since they did not have the notes for the course that only registered students had access to (where the many scientific references were listed and much more details were included).

The university hired me to teach it four times and even gave me a raise during that period in the very small amount they paid me to teach the course. There was never any criticism whatsoever given to me against the course by anyone who matters in the administration, staff or faculty at Carleton – everything I heard back were compliments so they obviously have no problem with my teaching or the course material being delivered (the vast majority of which was supplied by the university). In fact, it is back in 2013 with the originator and original instructor Professor Patterson teaching it.
